This is a live demo of Next Task, a task manager for Joomla: personal and shared lists, subtasks, due dates, recurring tasks, a board of all your lists, team lists and roles. Everything below runs inside this Joomla site.
How the demo works
- Pick a teammate. Use the Try the demo as… switcher in the corner of every page. You are signed in as one of six people of a small team, each with their own lists, tasks and notifications. No password, no sign-up.
- Look around. The demo is read only: you can open everything, filter, sort and star, but other changes are refused. Switch teammate at any time to see the same work through other eyes and other roles.
- Fresh every day. The demo data is put back every 24 hours.
The team
- Olivia Bennett, head of operations, Administrator: sees everything, including settings, apps and roles.
- Marcus Reid, marketing lead, and Priya Nair, design lead, Managers: run the team lists and oversee everyone's tasks.
- Daniel Kim, web developer, and Sofia Alvarez, content designer, Members: their own lists and the ones shared with them.
- Ethan Brooks, reviewer, Viewer: reads the lists shared with him and ticks off what is his.
What to try
- Lists and tasks: subtasks, notes, due dates and times, recurring tasks, stars, and the task drawer.
- All tasks: every list side by side as a board, in your own column order.
- Today, Overdue, Starred and Assigned to me: your tasks across every list.
- Team lists and shares: lists shared with people or groups, read only or editable, and tasks assigned to teammates.
- Overview and Users (as a Manager or the Administrator): open and overdue work per person.
- Roles (as the Administrator): what each role may do, feature by feature.
- The notification bell, the keyboard shortcuts (press ?) and the full-screen mode. On a phone, Next Task installs as an app.
